Our Story

A friendship was born, and in 2015 they created Suryatrips, an association of independent drivers.

​

Since then, the team has grown. Thanks to this work initiative, eight drivers are able to earn a decent income and support their families. We would like to thank all the travelers who have placed their trust in us, as they contribute to this humanitarian support made possible through everyone’s work.

​

Fanny, now retired, maintains the link between the team and travelers from all horizons. Living between France and Kerala, she voluntarily helps travelers in search of itinerary inspiration or helpful advice.

Vishnu manages the association in India, in close collaboration with Fanny.

​

A wonderful adventure that has lasted for 10 years, with our greatest reward being the positive feedback from our travelers.

Suryatrips Homely Stay is opening its doors in PERIYAR, formerly called Thekkady. Five cottages, set in a peaceful environment (a rare privilege in India), just a short walk from Periyar National Park, welcome you in the pure Indian tradition.
